High School information for 2020-2021
Iowa High School registration 2020-2021
Online payments, signing of required documents, and updating demographic information is encouraged prior to attending registration. (If you change your Physical Address in Student Progress Center, you must provide the school with documentation.) Specific instructions will be available in July. Online access should be available by July 13, 2020. Please check back for further instructions regarding online and onsite registration as the process will be different this year.
Registration for students that will be in grades 9-12:
All students should attend with at least one parent or guardian. No other siblings, friends, family will be allowed due to COVID 19 restrictions.
8/3/2020 8:30 – 11 am Seniors
12 noon -2pm Juniors
8/4/2020 8:30 – 11 am Sophomores last name A-J
12 noon – 2 pm Sophomores last name K-Z
8/5/2020 8:30 – 11 am Freshmen last name A – J
12 noon - 2 pm Freshmen last name K-Z
8/6/2020 Make-up registration - Online payment only
Students that are new to Iowa High School should attend during the appropriate time. (Students that attended Iowa High Middle campus are not considered new.)
For new students, any of the following may be used as verification of residence of the student and parent/guardian:
1) Two (2) current utility statements verifying address of parent/guardian with one being the electric bill.
2) Lease agreement/rental receipt.
3) Current contract of purchase.
If you are not able to provide verification of residence as listed, a permit from the Child Welfare office on 6th Street in Lake Charles will be required.
New students must provide the school with a Birth Certificate, student’s Social Security card and custody/guardianship papers (if there are any). Academic records from prior years are also helpful. Parents/Guardians will need to provide a picture ID.
