As our school computers spend more time off-campus with our virtual students, they may be missing needed updates.  Try these steps to keep the computer up to date:

1. Click the Start button and then Settings (looks like a gear icon).
2. In the Settings app, click "Update & Security." Don't click "Check for updates." Instead, click "Check online for updates from Microsoft Update."
   ***Note: If you don’t see "Check online for updates from Microsoft Update," you will have to click “Check for Updates.” Once you do, the online choice will appear.
3. After updates have downloaded, you should see a "Restart" button. Click it.
4. After the computer has restarted, repeat the steps to install any remaining updates. You'll want to do this until you see the green check mark with the message "You're up to date."
