McNeese State Univesity Application and Scholarship

Fall 2021 McNeese Freshman Scholarships:

  • Complete the online Application for First Time Freshman Admission and answer the Scholarship questions before the deadline.  Answer “Do you want to be considered for a scholarship?” with a “Yes” and continue answering the questions about activities, awards and work experience.
    • Deadline for Priority Consideration: December 1
    • Final Deadline: March 1
  • Submit all documents/information (official test scores, transcripts, etc.) to determine admission eligibility
  • Awarding will begin October 1 and will continue until funding is exhausted
  • Awards are only made to accepted students who are eligible to enroll in college-level English and math
  • Housing/Meal scholarships only apply to campus housing/meals for students residing on campus
  • Scholarships are available for 8 regular semesters provided 12 credit hours are earned each regular semester and the specified GPA is maintained
