Maplewood Fine Arts Showcase

We would like to invite the Maplewood community to our fine arts showcase. We are so excited to show off what we have been doing this year in our fine arts department. Mark you calendar now as you will not want to miss this event!
MMS Art teacher, Wendy Boyett, has given her students the guidance and inspiration to produce some amazing art pieces. Many have been award winning! Art will be on display throughout the showcase in the gym foyer on Monday and Tuesday, April 10th and 11th, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
This is your chance to see our sweepstakes winning choir in action. The chorus will be performing in the chorus room on Monday, April 10th at 5:30 pm.
Ballroom dancing has come to MMS! This may be a new program at Maplewood Middle, but we are setting the bar high. Our dancesport team came home with many wins in their fall competition, and are the ones to go after in their upcoming spring competition. The dancesport sponsors have praised our program and student talent. The dance students will be performing on Monday, April 10th at 6:30 in the gym.
This is also the Maplewood Middle School Band. The quality of our middle school band is incredible. This concert is a community favorite, so come early to get a good seat! Come and be amazed! The band will be performing on Tuesday, April 11th at 6:00 in the gym.
Maplewood’s Dr. Terri Simpson is director of this year’s Sulphur Mines Production of Alice in Wonderland. Many of our Maplewood students are among the cast and crew. Performances will be held on May 5-7 at the Kossa theater in Sulphur.
