MBMS Weekly Update, 11/2/2020

MBMS Weekly Update:

  1. Uniforms are not required at this time. If a change is made, parents will be notified via callout, MBMS official FB page, and the MBMS website.

  • NO gaiters allowed. Students must wear masks. Each student received their school issued masks on their first day back.

  • Leggings may be worn but MUST be covered by shorts or a skirt.

  • Pullover hoodies are not allowed on campus.

  1. NO SCHOOL – Tuesday, November 3 – Election Day

  2. Tuesday, November 10, is the final day to switch your child from the Virtual Connected Classrooms program to face-to-face instruction (and vice versa). Please contact the counselors to do so – melinda.brown@cpsb.org(6th & 7th) and polly.fontenot@cpsb.org (8th & Sped).

  3. Please remind students to use their student CPSB emails or Blackboard when sending messages to teachers. Assignment schedules for Blue/Gold days and “at home” learning will be updated on individual teacher Blackboard sites. Please check regularly so that you are aware of expectations.

  4. We have a limited number of spirit shirts available for purchase for $15 each. These are only available through PE class due to records receipts.

  5. The fall order of long-sleeved shirts, jackets, and water bottles has closed and is processing. We will update as soon as we know a delivery date (likely sometime in December).

  6. Students may still sign up to join our MBMS band program. Please email james.hearne@cpsb.org with questions.

  7. Students may continue to bring water bottles to use throughout the day as our new fountains have not been installed yet.
