School Uniforms Required

 

School uniforms will be enforced starting Monday, January 4, 2021.

 

Dress Code is also subject to any CDC and/or CPSB requirements.

 

 

STUDENT DRESS CODE

VINTON HIGH SCHOOL

 

SHIRTS

ANY DAY OF THE WEEK

 

·         Polo shirts in the CPSB uniform policy colors: navy, white, hunter green, and red (approved by CPSB for VHS)

·         Official VHS 2020-2021 school spirit shirt

·         Club shirts

·         Athletic team shirt

·         VHS spirit shirts (previous years)

PANTS/SHORTS/SKIRTS

·         Shorts or pants, in acceptable colors limited to khaki or navy only

·         All pants and shorts must have belt loops

·         SHORTS-should be no shorter than 3 inches above the knee

·         SKIRTS-should be no shorter than 3 inches above the knee (tights under skirts must be navy, white, khaki or hunter green)

·         Cargo shorts and joggers are not allowed

·         No knit pants or leggings

OUTERWEAR—ANY DAY OF WEEK

·         Only VHS outerwear can be worn (no other schools).

·         VHS approved outerwear from southerncustomprints.com

·         Only VHS hoodies may be worn to school but will not be allowed as a covering for the student’s head.

HATS

·         Hats are NOT to be worn

·         No head coverings are allowed

SHOES

  • Jandals, slides, and flip flops are NOT allowed; must have a strap across the back

PHONES/EAR BUDS/HEADPHONES

·         Ear buds should be stowed away and NOT worn

·         Cannot be used from 7:40-3:05

IDS

·         Must be worn while on campus at all times

·         If a school ID is forgotten, a temporary ID must be purchased from the front office for $1.

·         VHS provides one ID. Extra IDs can be purchased in the front office for $5 each.

PIERCINGS

·         No facial piercings allowed

·         No earrings (males)

HAIR

·         Only natural color hair is allowed

All dress code decisions are at the discretion of administration.
