2018-2019 Transportation Information
Public Information Officer
August 1, 2018
As we gear up for another successful year, we wanted to provide you with some information from our Transportation Department. There are several avenues available for you to obtain details regarding your student's bus number, stop location, and pick-up time.
You can utilize this link if your student is attending their zoned school. If you are asked for a username and password, please enter "cpsb" in both fields. Under the Students tab, select School/Transportation Search. Once you visit the link, follow the step-by-step instructions below:
- Select grade
- Enter house number
- Enter street name
- Enter zip code
- Click on Find School/Transportation Info
If you get a message in RED that states "THE HOME ADDRESS COULD NOT BE AUTOMATICALLY LOCATED ON THE MAP," please follow these steps:
- Go to middle of page and click on the drop-down menu arrow in the Street Name field
- Once you find name of street that matches your address, please highlight that street name, and then click on “USE SELECTED MATCH”
The next screen should then display info on your address and school of attendance and if your child is eligible to ride a bus.
Parents can sign into Student Progress Center to obtain the information, and you can also call our Transportation Department at 337-217-4330 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily. Lastly, parents can also contact their student's school for the information after August 6.
Please be patient as the pick-up times may vary slightly from the information you initially receive. Feel free to check back periodically until the first day of school. Bus drivers will not be picking up any students prior to 6:15 a.m. During the first few weeks of school, please allow a larger window of time for your student to be picked up.
We are excited about the upcoming year, and our priority will always be the safe transportation of our students to and from school. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the Transportation Department if you have any additional questions.
