Lake Charles Boston Academy again named top 100 CLEP Testing Center
For the fourth consecutive year the Lake Charles Boston Academy of Learning is ranked among the top 100 CLEP testing centers in the nation by College Board®. These testing centers are chosen based on the number of CLEP tests administered to students. Many students in the district utilize LCBA during their high school years, helping to earn the center this national nod year after year.
“Raising the performance bar in education is difficult,” said Superintendent Karl Bruchhaus. “Once the higher standard is reached, it gets even more difficult to maintain. The CLEP testing center at the Lake Charles Boston Academy is a shining example of maintaining that high standard for our students earning college credits through CLEP testing. We celebrate our staff for creating quality student opportunities.”
CLEP tests help students accelerate their college education, increases school performance scores and saves parents and students thousands of dollars in tuition, all things enticing students right here in Southwest Louisiana.
“We are excited to provide an opportunity for students to get a head start on their college education and for parents to save thousands of dollars,” said Beth Fraser, LCBA Principal. The outstanding success of the CLEP program is also a testament to the strong academic preparation that is available to students in Calcasieu Parish schools.”
With over 2,000 CLEP testing centers in the United States, the presence of a top-100 site in the community is a useful asset to students and their families.
